We’re looking for news, views, ideas and thoughts from people who have a passion for rugby, have opinions and /or are knowledgeable about the game.
Ideally, these are articles between 500 and 750 words, but if you have plenty to say and can say it well, then if you go over 750 words, we’ll take that too.
Send your article either as a Word document, or in the body of an email to
malanderson@rugbywriting.com
Provide a short title to the article.
And remember, always …
1) begin the article by stating what it’s about
2) keep to the main point(s) you want to make
3) keep in mind the audience that will be reading your article, and
4) give some thought to what you’re saying.
We like a well written article, but if grammar is not your strong point, don’t worry, we will do whatever editorial work is required to make it more readable.
We are interested in any subject matter, but right now the main topics that we’re really interested in are:
2023 Rugby World Cup
The future of rugby
Analysis of teams
When you send the article, please include your full name and where you are from (e.g., city/town,
region, country).
This is a new site (April 2023), but our desire is to expand the number of writers contributing to the website. If we like what you’re sending, and seem to have the ‘write stuff’, we’ll follow up with you about being a regular contributor.
That’s it.
We look forward to hearing from you!!
